Cornet - (Tenor trumpet) B-flat key with Trigger

Silver plated on yellow brass. Comes in its own lightweight hard case for protection, complete with cleaning gear.


In old style jazz bands, the cornet was preferred to the trumpet, but from the swing era onwards it has been largely replaced by the trumpet. The cornet is now largely a brass band instrument.
